How it works
Add the places. Search for a restaurant, tap one on the map, or list every restaurant, bar and café in view and pick from there.
Share one link. Paste it in WhatsApp, Slack or wherever the group talks. Voting takes a few seconds and works on any phone.
Go and eat. Everyone drags the places into their order. Results update live, and the poll closes on its own, after a day unless you pick another time.
Why ranking beats a show of hands
With five people and four restaurants, a quick vote often picks the place two people loved and three people can't stand. Ranking fixes that.
When nothing has a majority, the place with the fewest first choices drops out and those votes move to each person's next pick. The winner is the restaurant the group can actually agree on.

Everyone sees how far it is
Places come with their address and a map. Voters who share their location see how far each option is from them, so the person across town can rank the nearby places higher without having to say so in the chat.
Questions
- Does everyone need to download an app?
- No. Pickly runs in the browser, so voters just open the link. Nobody needs an account either, including you.
- How many people can vote?
- Up to 20 per poll on the free plan, which covers most dinners. Pro has no limit.
- Can I add places that aren't on the map?
- Yes. Type any name and address and it works as an option. Picking from the map just adds the location and the distance for voters.
- Can people vote for more than one place?
- In a ranked poll everyone orders all the places. If you'd rather have people tick every place they're fine with, switch the poll to “Pick several” before you create it.
